On November 25, 2025, at the Brera Astronomical Observatory in Merate, we will hold a commemoration event to remember all the victims of femicide.
This year, we’ve decided to meet with local communities to understand how some important organizations are addressing the issue of gender-based violence.
The event schedule is as follows:
3:00 pm: Welcome and presentation of the afternoon program. We meet the three organizations:
Municipality – With Councilor Patrizia Riva
School – With Cristina Mazza, philosophy teacher at Agnesi High School
Associations – Ora Basta Network – With Franca Rosa, representative of the Ora Basta network, and Amalia Bonfanti, President of the Altra Meta` del Cielo – Telefono Donna di Merate association
4:00 pm Commemoration of the red benches painted last year with readings on the theme
