With 4Most, the night has 2,436 eyes – In its first five years of operation, it will analyze the light of 25 million celestial objects – Media Inaf

Over the weekend, the Multi-Object Spectroscopic Telescope (4MOST), a new facility for wide-field spectroscopic surveys installed on the ESO Vista telescope in Chile, successfully completed its first sky observations thanks to an ingenious fiber-optic system. Our colleagues Marcella Longhetti and Angela Iovino are PIs of the extragalactic survey 4MOST-StePS: a Stellar Population Survey using 4MOST.
Also in the group are our colleagues Ben Granett and Shuang Zhou with research grants.
