Following the success of participation in the seminars of the series “When gender violence does not exist: meetings on language, law, discrimination, evaluation, inside and outside the academy“, held at the Brera Astronomical Observatory, the Organizing Committee has decided to offer the possibility to all those who participated in person, online, or as an individual study through the materials we make available, to obtain for each seminar the certificate of participation and learning after passing a post-training test. Each seminar counts for 2 hours of training and is open to all interested INAF personnel (researchers, technicians, administrative staff, students, associates, …)
The Indico pages for the material (slides, full recording, etc.) can be found here: https://indico.ict.inaf.it/category/266/ (click “show” to see all events)
The quizzes can be found, respectively:
1. VERA GHENO: “Basta saperle vedere: vicious and virtuous relations between reality and language” (7/2/25) HERE (quiz only offered in Italian, since it is about the Italian language)
2. SILVIA PENATI: “Scientific excellence through the lens of inclusiveness” (7/3/25) HERE
3. LOREDANA GARLATI: “Rape trial, trial rape: history of a crime” (10/4/25) HERE
4. MARINA CALLONI: “Gender violence prevention at home and at work” (4/6/25) HERE
The quizzes are composed of three screens:
1) general information (mandatory) + appreciation/suggestion to the Organizing Committee (optional)
2) learning test (mandatory)
3) self-certification of attendance (mandatory)
The quizzes can be filled out only once; after submission, each person will receive a copy of their answers.
The quizzes will remain compilable until 19/9/2025. The certificate will be sent to the address indicated in the form.
Given the interest shown so far, we intend to continue with this series even after the Summer. Therefore, we invite you to take advantage of the first part of the quiz to send us suggestions on possible topics or speakers that you would like to be covered in the future.
Kind regards,
The Organizing Committee
