Water planet revealed from the skies of the Canary Islands – Thanks to data collected by the Harps-N spectrograph installed at the TNG – Media INAF

A team led by INAF has measured with great precision the mass of the planet Kepler-10c, defining it as a possible world largely composed of water ice. The study, published today in A&A, has also confirmed the presence of another planet in the Kepler-10 system, providing new information to understand the formation of planets and the origins of the Solar System.
