The INAF Brera Astronomical Observatory is organizing a series of monthly meetings for the year 2025 on the topic of violence and gender issues in the academic and non-academic fields entitled: \u201cWhen gender violence does not exist\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaker<\/strong>: Prof. Marina Calloni \u2013 Milano Bicocca \u2013 Departments of sociology and social research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date and place<\/strong>: June 4, 2025 \u2013 11:00 am \u2013 At our headquarters in Milan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abstract<\/strong>: today, the educational and university system is called upon to take active and shared responsibility in combating gender-based violence by promoting a culture of respect through a new way of teaching and conducting research, in dialogue with civil society and institutions. Only integrated, relational, and transformative knowledge can help build a fairer society, also in memory of all those women to whom a future was denied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
